This event will be focusing on The Building Safety Act and JCT 2024 editions. Our speakers for this live event will be Peter Blake, Chris Harrall and Graham Mead from our Construction Team.

• The Building Safety Act 2022 – One year on - Graham Mead will be sharing key insights, knowledge and his take-aways from cases that our construction team have been involved in since the inception of the Building Safety Act 2022 (the Act) on 1 April 2023. Graham will also discuss recent legal cases; the learnings and legal implications for your business and the industry. We will be highlighting the key trends that delegates who are affected by the Act should be aware of.

• JCT 2024 Editions - Peter Blake and Chris Harrall will talk to our delegates about the JCT 2024 editions.

Peter and Chris will be covering:

1. Changes to reflect new legislation including the Building Safety Act 2022.
2. Future-proofing through increased emphasis on collaborative working; sustainable development and environmental considerations; and the notification and negotiation of disputes.
3. Modernisation and streamlining in relation to: extensions of time and unforeseen conditions; liabilities; and communication.
4. Target Cost Contract Suite
