Construction Voice lunch
The responsibility of the construction and property industry to change the world, one acre at a time.
Few industries have the power to reshape how we live, work and spend our free time quite like construction and property. Our July Construction Voice speaker has spent his career at the centre of that change – from major regeneration projects and housebuilding to sustainable restoration of heritage buildings.
Richard Upton has spent his career shaping some of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration and development projects. Previously a co-founding Director of Mount Avril, who are now one of the largest house builders in London; Founder of specialist regeneration property developer Cathedral Group; and former Chief Executive of U+I (now U+ILandSec) to name a few.
He’s also spent his career campaigning extensively for the sustainable restoration of heritage buildings, now spending his autumn years saving historic buildings and working on projects with a social and economic focus.
At our next Construction Voice lunch, we’ll hear Richard’s story through it all – and how his view that it’s the responsibility of the property industry to change the world fits into everything he does.
There’ll be time for questions, as well as the chance to network and meet with fellow businesses working in the construction and property sector over lunch.
The ticket includes a seasonal two-course lunch and a drink. The menu is available here.
