Setting up your company is only the start. How do you build your business and sustain it over the longer term? Julia Tybura started her HR and OD consultancy in 1998 and built it up over several years. She now works with senior leaders and specialises in board facilitation, strategic HR, change and reputation management and organisational politics. At this event, Julia will share some of her stories and provide some hints and tips on how to build a business and maintain it. She will also talk about how to deal with setbacks and how she traded through the worst economic downturn in living memory. As well as running her business, Julia is a columnist in the HSJ and speaks/chairs at conferences on HR, OD and organisational politics. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Royal Society of Arts, Visiting Fellow at University of Greenwich, Chair of the SE Thames branch and Lead Chair for CIPD London. She sits on the Board of Trustees of Borough Market and United St Saviours, a leading Southwark almshouse charity and mentors a number of senior HR leaders - and management trainees as she sees them as the leaders of the future.
