Event description

CCEA Regulation, Ofqual and Qualifications Wales invite you to an event to hear more about proposals to change our respective Conditions of Recognition. We launched a joint consultation on Friday 2 August on proposals to revise the rules governing the qualifications and organisations each regulate. The consultation responds to feedback gathered through a number of reviews recently undertaken, including Qualifications Wales’ review of its Standard Conditions of Recognition and Ofqual’s call for evidence on the availability of fee information.

Recognising that many of the awarding organisations (AOs) regulated are common to all three countries, and to minimise any burden on them, CCEA Regulation, Ofqual and Qualifications Wales have worked closely together to propose the same, or closely aligned, revisions to their respective Conditions in the vast majority of cases. We are holding two specific events in Coventry for awarding organisations and interested stakeholders to listen to the proposals and express views. We will offer events in Wales and Northern Ireland subject to demand.

An event for awarding organisations and stakeholders designed to help you find out about more about CCEA Regulation, Ofqual and Qualifications Wales' proposals on changes to the Conditions of Recognition. You can find out more about the consultation on each of our websites. Each event will cover the same content delivered by the three regulators: there is no need to attend multiple events.
