Event description
Take part in our consultation/co-creation sessions to contribute to our research and actively shape our new GBV Charter

About this Event

The Scottish charity EmilyTest are creating a new, Scottish Government funded GBV Charter for Scottish Universities and Colleges.

Following on from our exciting research with students and Student Resident Assistants in Scotland, we now want to capture the expertise of colleagues across the GBV, higher and further education and charity sectors.

We invite colleagues across the UK to give feedback on our draft GBV Charter and Risk Assessment tool through three consultation/co-creation sessions in October 2020. There are three to choose from: the first Violence Against Women (VAW) and Sexual & Gender-Based Violence professionals including Rape Crisis and Women's Aid, the second for university, college, Student Union and academic staff, the third for organisations working with marginalised groups, such as LGBTQIA* and BAME.

The consultation/co-creation sessions will include a presentation followed by Q&As and structured, chaired discussion for participants to give feedback on the Charter and Risk Assessment tool.

If you have any questions or concerns about attending these sessions, please email the researcher and chair Poppy, pgerrard@ed.ac.uk
