Mae prentisiaethau’n sbardun allweddol i godi lefelau sgiliau, i ysgogi cynhyrchiant ac er mwyn helpu i dyfu gweithlu medrus ac amrywiol sy’n addas i’r diben. Rydym yn gweithio i ganfod sut y gallwn ymateb i’r gofynion cynyddol hyn, ochr y ochr â’r system sgiliau ehangach, mewn modd mwy ystwyth ac ymatebol er mwyn sicrhau bod y cymwysterau a’r sgiliau cywir yn cael eu cyflenwi i fodloni anghenion cyflogwyr, dysgwyr a’r economi drwy ddatblygu rhaglen newydd ar ôl 2027.
Mae’r ymgynghoriad hwn yn cynnig cyfle i gryfhau ein dealltwriaeth o’r hyn sy’n gweithio’n dda ymhellach, a pha agweddau pellach y mae angen eu hystyried fel bo modd i’r rhaglen brentisiaethau newydd fodloni anghenion dysgwyr a’r economi o ran sgiliau.
Apprenticeships are a key driver to raise skill levels, drive productivity and help grow a skilled and diverse workforce that is fit for purpose. We are working to identify how we can respond to these growing demands, alongside the wider skills system, in a more agile and responsive way to ensure the right qualifications and skills are delivered to meet employer, learner and economy needs through the development of a new programme post 2027.
This consultation provides an opportunity to further strengthen our understanding on what is working well and what further considerations are needed to enable the new apprenticeship programme to meet the skills needs of the economy and learners.
