Like coaching itself, supervision works better when both parties understand what is expected of them and have the skills to contribute to the process. In this session, David Clutterbuck, Carol Whitaker and Michelle Lucas will share some of their key learning from their recently published book Coaching Supervision: A Practical Guide for Supervisees.

Among the topics they will explore are:

• What is Coaching Supervision?

• Different types /models/tools of supervision.

• What qualities are needed for a coach / mentor to be an effective supervisee?

• With a strong UK influence in supervision activity – what impact does this have for Pan-culturalism and diversity in supervision?

In keeping with their highly practical writing for the book, the session will be interactive and you will be invited to share your own experience of similar tools and engage in small discussion groups.

Setting Expectations:

Aims for the session and learning outcomes :
