Whether you have a tiny balcony or a large house, a planter or window box can be a beautiful addition to your home. Or a pathetic eyesore.
About this event
Professional Head Gardener, Tim Hewitt, will teach you the principles you need in order to create the former and avoid the latter! We will look at space, depth, materials, growing mediums and plants. You will go away inspired to create your own little patch of delight. Advice will be given on how to keep the display fresh and how to create new habitat for wildlife.
The workshop will take place in a group of 10 people, outside in the historic churchyards of St Mary's Church. If the weather is terrible, we will move inside to the church hall. You should come ready to walk around outside and observe, as well as take notes, if you would like to. A printed A4 sheet will be supplied.
