Join RIBA Somerset for a relaxed insightful evening to coincide with Contains Art's exhibition, 'The Box the World Made' showcasing inventive architectural re-interpretations of the humble shipping container.
In conversation with Louise Crossman, Rupert Wheeler will talk about the challenges and triumphs that turned 28 shipping containers into an award-winning Portishead pub.
Rupert's talk will be followed by a chance to ask questions, and preceded by an informal bbq meal and drinks in the courtyard at contains art - an arts space itself also constructed from refurbished shipping containers.
Kindly supported by RIBA South West, and funded by RIBA Somerset and the Local Initiative Fund.
