Event description

Description

In this two-day course we explore several quite different approaches to collage taking inspiration from important 20th and 21st century artists including Hannah Hoch, Kurt Schwitters, Henri Matisse, and John Stezaker. We use collage as a way of creating surprising combinations of 'found' images - and we use hand-coloured paper to cut and construct our own compositions. Suitable for all levels and for returning students. Materials provided but students may also want to bring things of their own, such as photographs, drawings or printed papers.

Costs: £85
Days: One weekend
Times: 10:30 - 16:30
Dates: 3 & 4 March
Room: Red room
Maximum: 10
