📍 12 Captain Cook Square (former TK Maxx Store), Middlesbrough TS1 1SR 🗓 Friday 3rd October | 7pm - 9pm

Contemporary History of Ukraine is a live, interactive performance-lecture by artist and filmmaker Oksana Kazmina, developed following a short research visit to Middlesbrough. Drawing on her previous fieldwork in Mariupol, the project explores resonances between post-industrial landscapes and collective memory. Using montage, Google Maps, archival footage, and embodied storytelling, the piece reflects on Ukraine’s recent history through a personal and political lens.

Mature audience only, viewer's discretion advised. Content: possible nudity, obscene language.
