Event Details

Following on from the last event to promote IRM and re-branding the records manager to #lookthepart, we are now offering a day dedicated to you and your development to #bethepart

Our recent survey highlighted an interest in finding out more about CPD and accreditation so we’ve put together a fantastic line-up of speakers to tell you all about what’s on offer. It’s also an opportunity to discuss particular requirements which are maybe not met at present, and hear about each other’s experiences in skills which might not be traditionally IRM, but help us do our job.

IRMS Scotland

IRMS Scotland is a dynamic group which not only discusses topics relevant to information management but also provides great networking opportunities for members to exchange news, ideas, as well as learn new skills from fellow information management professionals. Its members come from a wide range of sectors including: central and local government; financial services; charity; pharmaceuticals; engineering and utilities as well as a range of specialist service providers.

IRMS Scotland is represented in specialist information communities such as the Scottish Council on Archives (SCA), Archivists of Scottish Local Authorities Working Group (ASLAWG), and has a good working relationship with the Archives and Records Association (ARA).'
