Target Group: This half day course is suitable for professionals aiming to demonstrating ongoing professional development through a portfolio of evidence.

Course description

During our professional working experience, we develop and enhance many skills, developing knowledge through training days, day to day research activities and extra duties within a professional capacity, however, developed knowledge and experience is not always visible to others. Putting a continuous professional portfolio of evidence in place enables you to show your current employer or potential new employers what skills you have.

CPD is part of quality assurance within the workplace and should be in place for all professional staff.

Learning outcomes:

Increase awareness of the importance of Professional Development.

How to put together your own Contiguous Professional Development portfolio.

Understanding of the Lifelong Learning Standards for your sector.
