Event description
A choral programme of madrigals and jazz from the Renaissance to Duke Ellington performed by Continuum, directed by Harry Guthrie.

About this Event

After a very successful first performance of music for Epiphany in January, we are dighted to present a programme of madrigals and jazz including English favourites by composers Elgar and Vaughan Williams and arrangements of standard songs such as A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square and Moon River.

Continuum is a new vocal ensemble with members from Trinity College, Cambridge, the Royal Northern College of Music and alumni of Wells and Truro Cathedral Choirs. It is directed by former Wells Cathedral Choral Scholar, Harry Guthrie who is currently reading for a degree in Music at Trinity College, Cambridge.
