Contraception: A Beginner's Guide

This is a free one-day course delivered by THT Norfolk for all practitioners promoting sexual health in Norfolk.

Aim:

• An introduction to contraception and reproduction for non-clinicians 

Outcomes: (participant should be able to)

• Recognise the types of contraception available
• Identify what influences the contraceptive choices people make
• Explain dis/advantages of the most commonly used forms of contraception
• List local processes for accessing a termination
• State where to access contraceptive services in Norfolk
• Explain the role of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC)

Lunch is not provided, although tea and coffee are available and there are shops nearby. Free parking is available on site . Please follow the signs the the FIELD PARKING. The Training Lounge is located in a seperate building at the rear of the main Independence Matters building. Please arrive from 9:45 to sign-in.
