This course is suitable for GP's, ANP's Nurses and Nursing associates
This half day course will provide an update in contraception management in primary care.
This course is relevant for any primary care healthcare professional who is currently providing contraception advice, or has previously attended training on contraception and requires an update.
The learning outcomes are to:
• Provide an update on latest guidance about use and management of contraception.
• Appreciate how to manage side effects and complications of contraceptives.
• Improve practice when providing contraception for young, postnatal and perimenopausal women
• Understand latest recommendations of use of emergency contraception requests
• Apply theory into practice using cases.
