We have been invited to help to gather the views of people who live across Hertfordshire. We want to learn what a good life means to you and what helps or gets in the way at the moment. Hertfordshire County Council believes everyone should be able to live the life they choose, stay connected, active, happy and well.

These focus groups are open to anyone who is physically disabled and lives in Hertfordshire, or families, carers and paid supporters who know or work with people. We are very keen to hear from as many people with lived experience as possible to ensure that their experiences and views are what shapes the priorities in this strategy. We will be asking you about your personal experiences and ideas, what is working well or what the challenges are for disabled people in Hertfordshire. Each group has 10 spaces. Two people, including someone with lived experience, will facilitate each group.

Please let us know when you book, if you have any requirements to enable you to take part. We will endeavour to ensure that these are as accessible and flexible as possible. We may need advance notice for certain requirements e.g. interpreters - so we would appreciate you contact us 2 weeks in advance if possible to ensure we can do what is needed.
