Is hypnobirthing suitable for induction of labour or cesarean section?

Absolutely, getting prepared is key to having a positive birth experience. Even if birth doesn’t go to plan research highlights those who attended a birth prep course had less birth trauma and less postnatal depression. Hypnobirthing techniques can be used for all types of birth.

Does my partner have to come?

No they don’t but it can be beneficial as they will learn all about birth and learn how to advocate and support you in labour. You can always bring a friend if you prefer.
