Addressing the Elephant in the Room: A Path to Understanding and Restoration

The recent discussions amongst men seeking to step into leadership positions, particularly following the Bill Kauth speech, have awakened a "big elephant in the room". This issue appears to be undermining some of our thinking, principles, respect, and behaviours at a delicate time.

The National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) is offering a safe, structured space to directly confront this challenge.

About the Controversial Issues Process (CIP)

The CIP is a powerful, proven tool designed by NCBI to support communities that have become polarised over a particular issue.

We previously ran this process on a grand scale with Avon and Somerset Police and 100 community members after a major incident. In a single day, we achieved transformation in understanding, respect, and behaviours, successfully enhancing relationships to bring collaborative solutions.

This three-hour session is specifically designed to:

  • Identify and address the issue that is causing conflict and division.
  • Allow men who have felt passionate, impacted, or angry by the current climate to process their feelings constructively.
  • Achieve a transformation in understanding, respect, and behaviours among participants.

Who Should Attend?

If you have felt compelled to write in the chat or found yourself emotionally impacted by the current discussions, we strongly encourage you to attend. This process is vital for the health and restoration of the community.
