In April 2021 GMCDP hosted a hustings for the candidates of the Greater Manchester Mayoral elections. At the hustings, the candidates promised that if they were successful, they would return to talk to disabled people about their future plans.
At the event on 7 February the Mayor will outline his strategies that will improve the lives of disabled people (e.g. transport and digital exclusion) and respond to questions and challenge.
The Mayor will also recognise the work of the Greater Manchester Disabled People's Panel over the last year and outline shared priorities.
