Overview

Join the Schools Minister and a panel of experts for a live online discussion as part of a series of events focussed on SEND reform.

The Schools White Paper, due early next year, will outline proposed reforms to the SEND system.

Before that happens, the Department for Education wants to listen and understand the views and experiences of families, educators and experts to ensure reforms reflect lived experience and practical insights.

Join Schools Minister Georgia Gould and a panel of experts for a live online discussion on Wednesday 3 December at 18:00, as part of a series of events designed to spark the biggest national conversation on SEND in a generation.

This is the first in a series of online events for parents and education professionals, discussing the core principles guiding the government’s SEND reform programme.

In this event, Minister Gould and a panel of experts will discuss how we can ensure children receive the support they need as quicky as possible. There will then be an opportunity to ask questions of the Minister and the panel.

Can’t make it? Don’t worry, there are more online events, and a dedicated space online so you can share your views. You can find out more using our toolkit.
