Our next Conversation Space – Tuesday 14th October 2025 at 10.30am

The grassroots perinatal mental health sector provides a vast array of different services and forms of support: all of them equally helpful and valid to parents and families.

Whilst some services (e.g. counselling) might operate under professional body membership and ethical frameworks, others exist without ‘externally recognised’ stamps of assurance, whilst still providing equally worthy wellbeing support. This might raise questions from trustees, funders and stakeholders.

Safety and ethical practice is paramount to all our services but how do we navigate this when there isn’t a clear set of guidelines?

This month’s chat is inspired by a real-life query direct from the VCSE community. And who better to turn to for guidance than the community itself? We invite you to come along, without fear of judgement, and support each other in how to provide a safe and caring service with authenticity and professionalism at its heart.

Conversation Space is FREE to those working in the perinatal mental health sector . Places are limited to ensure an engaging and free-flowing chat for all.
