Chris Brookmyre is one of Britain's leading crime writers. His Jack Parlabane books have sold more than a milllion copies in the UK alone. His latest novel Black Widow won the McIllvanney Prize 2016 and is shortlisted for the CWA Golden dagger. In it he deals with contemporary themes such as everyday sexism, hacking, and social media trolls. He also pays homage to the past, bringing maverick reporter Parlabane back to Edinburgh and the flat which was the setting for his award-winning debut Quite Ugly One Morning.
Copies of all of Chris's books - which he will be happy to sign - will be available for sale.
This is a free event and includes comlimentary wine and soft drinks.
