Artificial Stupidity: Death to dumb chatbots
Join us for our lunchtime event discussing building stronger relationships through Conversational A.I.
As the pressure increases on our public services to deliver more in the face of huge constraints, can Conversational AI really make a difference? To date, customer facing technologies, such as Chatbots designed to act as the receptionist or phone operator, have often failed to win the trust of people. This is critical when considering how vulnerable service users can be feeling in a healthcare environment. If a conversation with a chatbot goes wrong confidence in your organisation’s system can be lost.
Beyond functional conversations with Chatbots, research reveals the efficacy of Conversational AIs with avatars in engendering trust and as successful as tools for health interventions(1).
This event explores how the state-of-the-art technology is progressing and the real and meaningful ways that it can support you today. Discuss any problems you have, and get hands on advice on how conversational AI can solve them.
Join us for a 1 hour session with our team of specialists in conversational AI, anthropology, participatory media and digital communications who will reveal some of the inner workings of the I am Echoborg interactive theatre show, a development model for professional A.I systems. We will also share a report on our ongoing research piece looking to assist with the training of student nurses in human advice settings.
Elzware is a UK based company that specialises in developing and supporting Conversational Systems using the best tools and methods available. We have been creating and refining ways of connecting humans to computers for nearly two decades.
