Conversations with strangers - a leap of faith
Overview
The art of conversation is a valuable skill for building community, developing friendships, and increasing our awareness of ourselves and others. But are we losing touch with how to communicate and connect with each other? Does our reliance on technology distance us from the very people we should be reaching out to?
In this session, Kellogg College Artist in Residence Joy Richardson will explore how conversation supports our social and professional development, and how speaking with those we know less well can strengthen community. Joy will also share extracts from her diary, describing unexpected conversations with strangers.
