It is free to register for this event. On attendance, attendees will be invoiced a rate of £920.00


Topic:

Convert your Accreditated Practitioner Status (APS)/Accreditated Teacher Status (ATS) or Associate Member of British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) schools to Further Education (FE)/Higher Education (HE) or vice versa to gain both accreditation with the BDA for both.


Aims of the course:

The course will enable you to convert your ATS/APS or AMBDA schools or FE/HE qualification to the other, so if you did AMBDA FE/HE, but now want to work in schools etc. We can help you do this.


Suitable for:

Specialist teachers who have completed accredited ATS/APS or AMBDA courses either with the University of Chester or elsewhere.


This Course will address the essential skills and practice to:

  • Work within the other environment to the one you attained on your course;

  • To understand the differences and similarities between ATS/APS/AMBDA schools or FE/HE and to be able to confidently work across both areas;

  • To hold both the schools and the FE/HE accreditation with the BDA to improve your career and job options.


You will leave with:

Depending on which you require you will leave with one of the following:

  • ATS/APS School

  • ATS/APS Further Education/Higher Education

  • AMBDA School

  • AMBDA Further Education/Higher Education
