About this event

Join us for this biweekly socialising and cooking space for adults where we'll use the surplus food from our Community Fridge to prepare a nutritious and hot meal together. Led by a trained chef, you'll learn new cooking techniques and meet new people as you chop, stir, mix, and more! Followed by a roundtable community meal with teas and coffees. No previous cooking experience necessary.

Will there be any vegetarian or vegan food options?

Our meals are typically all vegetarian, in order to appeal more widely. However please inform us of any dietary restrictions and allergies prior to the session at admin@rj4all.org and we'll do our best to accommodate. If given enough notice (1-2 days) we can make appropriate changes to the session.

What kind of kitchen equipment will we be using?

Our Community Kitchen has a double hob electric plug-in, mini oven, air fryer, microwave, pots, pans, cooking utensils, electric blender, and serving utensils.

I am a parent and would like to bring my child. Is this allowed?

Children are welcome to participate as long as supervised by their parent and or adult guardian. We do not provide childcare so children must be supervised at all times.
