A hands-on cookery workshop for parents with children under the age of one.
Covering when to start weaning, your baby’s changing nutritional needs, follow on foods, baby-led weaning, delicious homemade purees and much more.
Come and make fruit and veg purees/follow on foods for babies aged 6 - 12 months, let baby taste them and take a batch home for your freezer. Suitable for parents with babies of weaning age (6 months +), and parents who would like to find out more about weaning when their babies are ready.
This cousre is free of charge but booking is essential. Supervision for baby provided while you cook and learn. Part funded by The BIG LotteryFund and Surrey Family Learning.
Try out some delicious recipes with other local mums (and dads!) and let baby taste them and take a batch home for your freezer.
How to book - reserve a place using our booking form. We will email you a project registration form which needs to be returned to us before 20th November. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

The Organic Cookery School
The Organic Cookery School is a not-for-profit organisation which promotes and delivers cookery activities to children, families and young adults. Our main objectives include encouraging & supporting families to make ethical and healthy food choices and to develop practical cookery skills through a range of workshops and courses delivered either during the school or nursery day, or after school, at weekends and in the holidays. Activities are tailored to specific age groups and support the key outcomes of Every Child Matters and the Learning Outside the Classroom Manifesto.
We also provide training and support to schools and early years settings in the delivery of family cookery programmes and nutrition.
