Are there toilets?

There are no public toilets at the car park. There are none along the route, but I will point out discreet spots for 'wild wees'!

Will I be the only person showing up alone?

Accepted Answer

Probably not! Most women who attend these walks do so for the first time without knowing anyone. We're a really friendly and welcoming bunch :)

Can I get there using public transport?

Accepted Answer

You can find bus routes here: https://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/visiting/planning-your-visit/publictransport/peak-district-bus-routes. Let me know if you would like to be added to the car share chat. Glossop Train Station is a 20min walk away.

Question 4

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead as we walk through farm land with livestock and access land with ground nesting birds.

Question 5

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Hiking boots or shoes with good grip and ankle support
Snacks/lunch to sustain you for around 4 hours
Rucksack
Water (at least 1L)
Waterproofs
Warm layers 
Hat and gloves/Sun hat and sun cream
A small first aid kit with any personal medications
Walking poles, sit mat, hot drink, headtorch

What time do I need to arrive?

We aim to meet at 6.15pm to set off at 6.30pm.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer make it?

Accepted Answer

This event is non-refundable. If you can no longer attend you are more than welcome to sell your ticket to someone else but please let me know if you do so. No swaps to other events unless this has been agreed.
