About this Event
Join us for the first of our 'Coorie' Home workshops at Secret Herb Garden.
Coorie/ ku:ri is a Scots word meaning:
1. The Scottish art of deriving comfort, wellbeing and energy from wild landscapes and convivial interiors.
2. A hug of a word.
These workshops will be a chance for you to learn new skills which you can recreate at home. Perfect as the nights start to draw in!
Join us at in the stunning setting of the Secret Herb Garden for a relaxed evening where you can unwind and learn how to make beautiful modern autumnal dried flower wreaths.
Our florist, Kirsty from Moss & Fern, will host the evening where you will learn the technical skills to make you very own wreaths. Kirsty will also advise on how to hang your wreath.
The dried flowers for the wreaths will be provided by the Scottish Flower grower collective - with all flowers being locally sourced.
All materials for wreath making will be provided and all abilities welcome. We will provide appropriate packaging to take it away with you so you can hang it in your own home.
Drinks and a selection of delicious nibbles will also be provided to help get your creative juices flowing!
