I'm completely new to yoga.  Can I still attend?

Absolutely! All levels and abilities are welcomed and supported. We offer a safe, nurturing and inclusive space for everyone and all postures are beginner friendly.

Question 2

Do I need to be flexible to attend this event?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! Event is suitable for all bodies and all levels including beginners.   Modifications and adjustments will be offered for every posture and you'll be gently guided and supported to listen to your body.

Question 3

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

All props such as yoga mats, blankets, bolsters and blocks will be provided.  You may wish to bring an extra blanket and a soft pillow for the relaxation at the end.  The pillow from your bed or sofa is perfect.  Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Question 4

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear loose comfortable clothing than you can easily move around in.  You may wish to bring cosy layers and a pair of cosy socks for the relaxation at the end.

Are there toilets at the venue?

Yes there is an accessible toilet right next door to the Willow Room where we hold our retreat.

Question 6

What parking facilities are there?

There is ample free on-street parking spaces both on High Street and on Edinburgh road.

Question 7

How do I access the venue?

Accepted Answer

As this is an evening event, access will be through the rear gate on the High Street (beach) side of the building.

Question 8

What time should I arrive?

Accepted Answer

Event starts at 19.30 and you may wish to arrive 5 or 10 minutes earlier to settle into the space.   As we have an event running before the retreat, we ask that you don't arrive earlier than 19.20 to ensure we can get the space set up for you.
