As countries across the world aim to meet Net-Zero greenhouse emissions obligations by 2050, COP26, a global climate change conference, is being held in Glasgow in November 2021 to support and accelerate change. During the COP26 conference, key topics such as how to accelerate the global transition to clean energy and how to drive the global transition to zero emission transport will be at the forefront of discussions.

To coincide with the COP26 event, TÜV SÜD is pleased to be hosting an event on Wednesday 3rd November 2021 at their facilities in East Kilbride to discuss flow measurement issues focused on the energy transition. The session will include a special edition of the Measurement Focus Group where we will present the findings from some of our BEIS-funded clean fuels research relating to both hydrogen and carbon capture utilisation and storage, both of which will be playing a role in aiming to combat climate change. A mini exhibition, tour of the on-site flow measurement facilities, and lunch will be included in the programme which will provide ample networking opportunities. The event is a chance to see at first-hand our recently-opened hydrogen domestic gas metering facility.
