The stories we tell shape how we see ourselves and how we see the world. By connecting science, health, education, and the arts through storytelling We Are the Possible unites the University of Exeter, the University of Khorfakkhan, and a network of partners in the UAE, UK, and beyond, supported by the British Embassy Gulf Strategy Fund, at COP28 Climate Change Conference and other fora.

We are the Possible - COP28 (UAE) expands on the impact of One Chance Left - COP26 (UK 2021), and We Still Have a Chance -COP27 (Egypt 2022), which reached over 28 million people. We Are the Possible reveals what we value most and what’s at stake in our changing planet. In a unique experience linking marine science, theatre, music, nature soundscapes, poetry, dialogue, and children’s voices and actions across the ocean be inspired to imagine and forge a sustainable, healthier, and socially just and inclusive world. We Are the Possible who can ensure our planet is restored and flourishes for future generations.

We are hosting a streaming of the We Are The Possible content being presented at COP28 on 8th December here at Streatham Campus, 4pm-6.30pm.

Alongside this, we are hosting a panel discussion to connect you with our student body, our academic community and the team who have developed the We Are The Possible content, and discuss the importance of communication and the arts in promoting climate action.
