1. Who is this event for?

This event is for anyone who has experienced sexual abuse and is seeking support, tools, or community as part of their healing journey. All genders, backgrounds, and stages of healing are welcome.

2. Do I have to share my story?

No, this will not be required. You are welcome to simply listen, observe, or engage in the ways that feel safest and most comfortable for you.

3. Is the event confidential?

Yes. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful space. Participants are asked to maintain confidentiality and not share identifying details outside of the session. We also recommend attending in a private space if possible.

What are the limits to confidentiality?

If a participant discloses intent to harm themselves or someone else, Safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. If a participant shares information that suggests someone is in danger, action may be taken to protect that person’s well-being.

4. Will the session be recorded?

No, to protect participant privacy and create a safe environment, the session will not be recorded.

6. What if I feel overwhelmed during the event?

There will be grounding practices built into the session. You are free to take a break, step away, or leave at any time. A list of support resources will also be shared for continued care after the session.

7. Who is facilitating the event?

The session will be facilitated by trained professionals with experience in trauma-informed care, counseling, and survivor support.

8. How long is the event?

The session will last approximately 2 hours, with time at the end for Q&A or reflection.

9. Is this therapy?

This is not a therapy session. While the event is therapeutic in nature, it is intended as an educational and supportive space, not a replacement for professional mental health care.

We are a growing community of self employed therapeutic counsellors who have undergone specialist training to work in this area. We are all trauma informed offering support to those that are on waiting lists, decided that therapy isnt for them or in addition to having therapy.
