When do worries become an anxiety disorder?

Everybody has worries, right?

Anxiety is one of the most frequent and debilitating mental health concerns in bustling western society. Worries are part of everyday life, it is perfectly normal to feel anxious before a job interview or an exam.

For some people, however, anxiety and worries become overwhelming and interfere with their ability to enjoy their lives. Do you want to know more about anxiety, how it affects you and how to reduce its impact on your life?

Objectives:

  • Learn different forms of anxiety related disorders, their symptoms and treatment options;
  • Learn about panic or anxiety attacks and how they affect people;
  • Learn useful and easy to use techniques to support people experiencing anxiety disorders;
  • Learn self-awareness, self-management and recovery focused approaches to treatment.
