This session of coping with cuts will focus on commissioning- how can commissioning help organisations and communities do things differently while maintaining a realistic picture of the cost of support and the range of services required.
During this event we will hear from Edmund McKay (East Renfrewshire H&SCP) about their approach to commissioning for outcomes and from Diana Hekerem (Healthcare Improvement Scotland) who leads their work on improving strategic commissioning in Scotland.
Bringing us a perspective from outwith social care we are also delighted to welcome Helena Ohman who will share her experience of commissioning and being commissioned as an artist.
Coping with Cuts is a series of free workshops where providers and commissioners get together to talk and think about how to work in a context of reducing resources. The workshops are a series but are designed to be standalone so you don't have to have attended previous sessions to come along.
We hope you can join us on the 24th!
