Coping with Grief

Coping with Grief

Overview

A personal story on how grief shaped my life and made me who I am today, and how businesses can better support their teams on grief at work

56% of people at work are currently dealing with grief — yet so many still feel unable to talk about it.

For Grief Awareness Week, we’re running our inaugural “Coping With Grief: Don’t Stop Grieving” workshop.

This session draws on my own lived experiences of grief: losing loved ones, the breakdown of friendships and relationships, and even the grief tied to identity and growing up. We’ll also be sharing one-minute reflections from others about what grief means to them and how it shows up in everyday life.

Alongside the stories, we’ll provide practical tools, resources and guidance for individuals and businesses on how to better support people navigating grief at work.

Grief isn’t linear. It changes shape, it comes in waves, and it never truly stops — and that’s okay. This workshop gives people the space, language and confidence to talk about it.
