This workshop will explore how to support parents and young children in Islington (aged 1 to 5) with transitions into childcare and school.

Join us at the Outdoor Stay and Play at Highbury Fields Bandstand to discuss the different ways of understanding and aiding in transitions!

Workshop Aims:

  • To consider why transitions into childcare or school can be difficult for both children and parents
  • To provide advice on supporting your child with their transition
  • To provide some practical strategies on managing your own anxiety with the transition
  • To give details of further support available

This event will be open to Islington parents of children aged 1-5 years. It will feature group discussion with activities, participation will be encouraged.

Please Note: Only parents who live in Islington or have a GP in Islington are eligible to access this workshop. Only one ticket is needed per family to avoid double bookings. This workshop is only open to parents and not professionals.

This workshop will be facilitated by Liz Mawle (Systemic Psychotherapist) and Rosan McCall (Systemic Psychotherapist)
