No prior experience with Bowen? Not a problem! This workshop is designed for everyone – from those simply interested in health and wellbeing through to aspiring Bowen practitioners.

Frequently asked questions

I am coming by public transport, what are my options?

The Tara centre is conveniently located in the centre of Lancaster and a five minute walk from both the train station and central bus station

What should I bring?

Something to make notes in your comprehensive manual, a change of clothes, and water. Lunch is optional, see below

What should I wear?

Loose comfortable clothing. There is no requirement to undress but for learning purposes it can be helpful to see the outline of the body.

Do I need a packed lunch?

You are definitely welcome to bring a packed lunch but there are multiple cafe and supermarket options very close by to the venue.

How many days is the course?

This is a two-day course running from 9.30am to 5.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Two days are seen as a great way to really learn the technique properly and give attendees a lot of opportunities to practise.

Do I need to have any prior experience?

This course is open to anyone over the age of 18 regardless of experience.
