About this event

Family & Education • Parenting

Caring for an anxious teenager is draining and can also affect the whole household leading to siblings playing up too.

Therefore looking after yourself is important to give you the energy to look after everyone else. The metaphor of 'put your own oxygen mask on first' is appropriate!

This is the third in a free 3-part webinar series designed to empower parents like you with the understanding, tools, and confidence to support your anxious teen.

In the previous two, we have been focusing very much on the teenager themselves, but in this last one, we are going to be looking at how you can be the best version of you as a way of helping them.

We all know that these wonderful beings come into the world with no manual and we all do the best we can but teenage anxiety takes its toll on all of us. We're here to give a little guidance from two experts in teenage anxiety in to things that you can do or say that will give you more options to help your teen.

By attending this third webinar you will:

  • Learn that being selfish is not a bad thing - and how by putting yourself first, everyone else wins too
  • How to more easily model the behaviours you want to see in them
  • Focusing on your strengths
  • When to draw on the resources of others

Led by experts in adolescent mental health, each session is packed with practical advice, emotional support, and real-world strategies you can start using immediately.

Whether your teen is dealing with overwhelm, panic, or constant worry, this series will help you respond with calmness, clarity, and compassion.

Join us and become the steady anchor your teen needs.

By registering for this webinar, you will also be given access to the recordings of the first 2 webinars and related handouts.

All webinars will include the opportunity to get your own questions answered by the experts.
