Overview
A joint hike with Zoology Society and Student Scout and Guide Organization around Croy Hill and the Antonine wall!
Bring boots, water, lunch, snacks, warm and waterproof layers and a train ticket from Queen Street to Croy. Also feel free to bring any feild guides or binoculars :)
If you're making your own way there meet us at the Croy station at 9! We expect the event to go from 8:30 meeting in Queen Street to around 3:30pm return. The walk is around 13.5km and relatively easy.
Please let a committee memeber know if you're feeling unwell at any point or have any concerns. Continuing with a ticket will be taken as acknowledgemnt of the following potential safety risks:
- Uneven ground and tripping hazards
- Potentially wet or uncomfortable weather (but the excusrion will be canceled if we hear of anything too extreme)
- Traffic and general road hazards
- Potential allergens like stinging insects and snacks provided
