At Eclipse Pilates is all about community, with supportive instruction and moves from beginner to advance we support each and every individual In their journey.

Why should you do Pilates?

Pilates is the key to core strength, mobility and flexibility. It also puts the work behind those heavy weights, diet or even sport by enhancing all the work you do. Pilates works on the smaller muscles and ligaments that get less attention By using these we created improved aesthetics, mobility and feelings.

We also cater to those with back pain, wrist ailments, hip tightness and so much more. Although we recommend checking in with your GP before any physical activity we can offer adaptions to support these aches and pains.

As martial artists you can improve your kick height, co ordination and strength by working on key muscles to promote all features of your current training.

It is also amazing for women of all ages as it builds and develops a strong pelvic floor, improves hip mobility and much more.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to bring a mat?

We have a shared padded mat that is clean and comfortable. If you do wish to bring your own feel free.

What clothes should I wear?

Anything comfortable to move in is suitable for Pilates including leggings, shorts, t shirts, sports bras and more.

Can I do this if I’m new to fitness?

Absolutely, we strive to make everyone feel heard in these sessions. We have 60 minutes to ensure that I can spot anyone struggling and set tasks that suit each and every person in the room.

Are children allowed?

Children are allowed to join in with specific consent from their guardian. We are currently trialing this feature and hoping that with increased numbers we can offer a more interesting alternative that caters to them. Great for if your child is a part of any sport such as kickboxing or gymnastics.
