Event description

Description

Bob Harvey-Jenner is an experienced portrait photographer whose mission is to enable you to see the real you, the person the world sees, and to love the images he takes of you. He states he is not a button pusher but wants to deliver photographs of the 'real' person. His technique is therefore about closing the perception gap between how we see ourselves and how the world sees us - showing the lens as a bridge, not a spotlight.

At this The Extra Mile event, Bob will talk about the psychology of portrait photography. He will cover the importance of head shots, giving examples of the good and the bad and explaining how in this digital age we are all our own brands and have to be constantly mindful of the image we project.

The session will also include a practical demonstration of photographic styles, the process involved, and a discussion around the anxieties and fears many people have about being in front of the camera.

Do you need new head shots?

Whilst we have Bob with us, we thought it would be a great opportunity to set up a pop up studio and run a professional photo shoot on the afternoon of 6th March, with TEM attendees benefiting from a greatly reduced rate (£50 covering both Bob's fee and our venue costs) to receive 3-5 retouched photos in a digital format, including permission to use your shots for all social media platforms and for internal usage within, and for, the workplace.

Each photo shoot will take 10-15 minutes. You obviously don't need to wait around all afternoon - we can order the photo shoot to suit each person's commitments.
