Start your pottery journey at Creative Bloc with a wheel throwing taster session!
Try out the basic techniques that will allow you to create your first small pots on the potters wheel with guidance from an experienced tutor.
Suitable for complete beginners. Whether you're looking to test the water before enrolling in a full course or you're just looking for a fun weekend activity to enjoy with a friend, this is a great introduction to making ceramics.
You may choose and keep up to 2 pots from the class which will be trimmed and fired for you in the studio, ready for collection approximately 3 weeks after the class.
Wheel throwing is messy work, please wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on (it washes out). Short sleeves or sleeves you can roll up are recommended and you may want to bring your own towel or apron.
