The world of academic publishing is complex and changing. Have you come across phrases such as "Open Access", "third-party copyright", "Open Data" and "licence restrictions" and wondered what they mean for you as a research student?

This session will cover what Open Access means in the context of your research, some of the copyright issues that you may need to be aware of when it comes to publishing your work, and the direction in which academic publishing is moving.
