About this event

The Europeana Copyright Community’s ‘Copyright office hours’ offer you a space to ask questions and share thoughts or concerns about copyright and digital cultural heritage, get inspired by other approaches and share your knowledge. NOVEMBER 30 2021 17:00 - 18:00 CET Online This session of the copyright office hours will be focused on questions around using digital cultural heritage in education. You can share any type of question, thought or concern you have on this topic that you would like to discuss with experts and colleagues from the Europeana Network. During the call, one or more members of the Copyright Community Steering Group will be there to moderate the discussions. In addition, we will be joined by Emily Hudson, Reader in Law at the King’s College London, to answer questions, share her thoughts and point you to relevant documentation or showcase examples. All participants are of course very welcome to share their thoughts on other participant’s questions. If possible, we invite you to add your questions to this trello board before the start of the session - please note that your username will be publicly available. The conversation will be informal and will not be recorded. These sessions by no means constitute any legal advice.

Please note: Europeana is beginning to monitor attendance at our events to try to make sure that we are reaching as wide and diverse a section of the community working with or interested in digital cultural heritage as we possibly can. We ask you a series of questions relating to whether you have a visible or invisible disability. The disclosure of this information is completely voluntary. All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence, and all data disclosed will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Europeana’s privacy policy. You can also read the Europeana Network Association Code of Conduct. We will anonymise your data and only use, analyse and report on anonymised data. Where a respondent voluntarily provides personal information, this data will be used only for the purposes for which it is provided, and not passed to any third party, unless obliged to disclose such information by a rule of law.
