Clear Bright Future - A Radical Defence of the Human Being

In his new book Paul Mason argues that we are still capable - through language, innovation and co-operation - of shaping our future. He offers a vision of humans as more than puppets, customers or cogs in a machine. This work of radical optimism asks: Do you want to be controlled? Or do you want something better?

Our mission for the day is nothing less than to locate a politics with which Labour will not only win the next General Election but also shape an era of sharing the wealth of our society with us all.

Everybody is welcome. Expect during the course of the event to feast yourself on thinking, sharing and conversing with others from across Sussex and all points yonder. In between refuel at our Keir Hardie Café while passing through the Ideas Exchange staffed by campaigners who share our ambition to change Britain, for the many, not the few.

Solidarity price We couldn't possibly put on an event of this scale and ambition at just £5 per ticket, we do to help ensure nobody who wants to attend will be put off by the cost. We are only able to do this if those who can afford the viable cost of a ticket, £10, pay this solidarity price. If you can, please do. Thanks

Admission please with non-perishable food donation to Lewes Food Banks. .

All this in the historic environment of Lewes, home to Tom Paine, Virginia Woolf and bonfire!
