To access this event you must be a member of the National Youth Film Academy
Core Filmmaking Skills is a new monthly masterclass hosted by award-winning Producer Clare Cahill.
Clare is known for her work on Perplexed Music, The Moment, and The Gridiron.
This series of webinars introduces young filmmakers to the core skills needed to make a film, from the first idea to getting it out to the audience.
As we move through the series, participants are also encouraged to reflect on their personal skills and attributes, sometimes called the ‘soft’ skills, culminating in the final session around self-evaluation and self promotion.
The modules will include:
- Developing an idea and securing the rights to be able to make a film from that idea
- Pitching your project
- Managing the shoot (including COVID-19 protocols, risk assessments)
