Schools are invited to bring year 10 & 11 students. These should be students expected to get grades 4-7 at the end of GCSE, and who potentially may be interested in taking Core Maths post-16.

Students will participate in 4 sessions to include topics such as:

  • Does Correlation mean Causation ? - Exploring the correlation of two variables and the Regression Line

  • Party Planning - First steps of Critical Path Analysis

Please arrive in time to start the session promptly at 10am. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

The day will finish by 2.30pm.

Schools should send a minimum of one member of staff to accompany the students. This can be either an experienced Core Maths teacher, or someone who is new to, or will be teaching Core Maths from September.

We will be offering CPD for teachers new to Core Maths - If you would like to benefit from this, please indicate this on the registration form.
