Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

As our flagship bird species for 2017 we all want to know as much as possible about this iconic downland species and who better to fill in all the detail than our very own Matt Prior from Wiltshire Ornithological Society! Over lunch, Matt will give us a comprehensive introduction to the corn bunting's habits and habitat requirements and then, weather permitting, we'll head off onto the Downs to see how he and so many of you are helping to keep this and other species thriving over the winter and, with luck, maybe even see the real thing.

* Booking essential

* Please wear suitable footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.

All Space for Nature events are free to attend but as we no longer receive Defra funding we ask that you make a donation to enable us to continue our work.

Please contact us if you have any specific requirements or for more information.

Please note: There will be a small charge for this event to cover the cost of lunch.
